Reunited three years after a car crash scattered them into hollow versions of success, four friends stumble into a bachelor-party trip to Goa where making one last short film forces them to confront the heartbreak, cowardice, and unfinished business each of them has been outrunning.
The four friends bicker in a car about whether to make crime thrillers or comedies for views — the fight over what kind of story to tell, which the rest of the film answers.
Karthik's boss tells him "every dog has its day" and later calls him a "great dane" — the film's real theme, that Karthik is chasing someone else's idea of a good dog, is stated here and not understood until the very end.
Kaushik's dubbing paycheck is delayed again, and he needles the director about a possible acting break.
Kaushik sees his parents and sister off, teasing his young nephew Subash about his spanish exam.
Once his parents leave, Kaushik takes Subash under his wing and gets a call from Karthik about the engagement.

A guy in his late twenties is seen editing what looks like a wedding film on two computer screens.
He plays a portion of it and relaxes in his chair and takes a sip of water.

Standing beside him are a couple. The guy is seen towering over the computer screen inspecting every detail while the girl is busy checking her instagram feed on a seat beside the monitor.
COUPLE GUY

He gets back to work and leans into his monitor, adjusts his huge glasses and holds the girl’s hand assuming its the mouse and tries clicking it several times.
The girl pulls her hand back and looks at her husband, in shock.
UPENDRA looks clueless.

They stare at him furiously.
