Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi · written by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam · 2017
Scene 31 of 130 · ≈ 1 min on screen
Reunited three years after a car crash scattered them into hollow versions of success, four friends stumble into a bachelor-party trip to Goa where making one last short film forces them to confront the heartbreak, cowardice, and unfinished business each of them has been outrunning.
Four friends comfortable in their compromises: an engagement for money, a job that fired him, a dubbing gig, an editing hustle — none of it what nineteen-year-old them wanted.
Reunited at the bar, the four are dared by Shirley's crew to tell the story of the thing that brings them together — the film they've never dared to finish.
In the theatre, Vivek is moved to tears by the film as Gautam Menon arrives.
The gang gets a photo with Gautam Menon, each claiming a department on their nonexistent 'Vivek and team'.
Over tea, Kaushik mocks Vivek's photo stunt and the gang divides up imaginary film crew roles.
