Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi · written by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam · 2017
Scene 69 of 130 · ≈ 1 min on screen · Act two
Reunited three years after a car crash scattered them into hollow versions of success, four friends stumble into a bachelor-party trip to Goa where making one last short film forces them to confront the heartbreak, cowardice, and unfinished business each of them has been outrunning.
Four friends comfortable in their compromises: an engagement for money, a job that fired him, a dubbing gig, an editing hustle — none of it what nineteen-year-old them wanted.
Dared to explain what holds them together, they need to finish the short film they abandoned — and to know why Vivek can't write an ending anymore.
The gang argues in the car about the trip and Vivek's drinking before falling asleep.
Vivek confirms he booked the Goa trip on Karthik's card without telling him.
Security stops the gang, still dragging Karthik on a luggage trolley, at the airport.
