The Boston Globe's Spotlight team pries open the Catholic Church's decades-long cover-up of child abuse — one sealed record, one silenced victim at a time.
Assistant DA Burke arrives at a 1976 Boston police station to quietly handle Father Geoghan's arrest, telling the desk cop to keep the press away.
A Bishop assures Sheila, mother of the two boys Geoghan molested, that he will pull Father from the parish and this will never happen again.
This scene
The Young Cop stands outside smoking. He watches as the Bishop and Father Geoghan exit the police station and get into a TOWN CAR, a DRIVER behind the wheel. As they drive away, we HOLD ON the cop. PROCESSING.
