An unnamed intelligence operative, recruited into a shadow war fought through time-inverted weapons and objects, teams with an enigmatic ally to stop a dying Russian oligarch from using technology gifted by a dying future to erase the present.
A staged terrorist siege at the Kiev opera — chaos, disguise, and a world where nothing is what it appears to be.
A masked terrorist cocks his weapon as the assault on the theatre begins.
SWATs breach the lobby and trade gunfire with the terrorists.
The four American operatives split up in the corridor; the Protagonist checks the boxes alone.

The Well-Dressed Man stares, shocked –
PROTAGONIST (CONT'D)
We live in a twilight world...
WELL-DRESSED MAN
(focuses)
And there are no friends at dusk.
PROTAGONIST
You’ve been made. This siege is a
blind for them to vanish you.
WELL-DRESSED MAN
But I’ve established contact –
PROTAGONIST
Bring you in or kill you – I have
two minutes. Make up your mind.
The Well-Dressed Man nods, climbs to his feet...
PROTAGONIST (CONT'D)
Where’s the package?
WELL-DRESSED MAN
Coat check.
He hands the Protagonist a numbered ticket.
