Scene 3 of 189 · ≈ 1 min on screen · Act one
Mark Zuckerberg wants status and belonging Harvard's final clubs won't give him, so he builds a website that gives the world both — and loses his best friend and co-founder to the company he built to prove he mattered.
Mark at the campus bar: brilliant, status-obsessed, unable to read the room he's sitting in.
Mark needles Erica about final clubs and B.U. through a whole date until she breaks up with him, telling him he'll fail with women not for being a nerd but for being an asshole.
Mark storms out of the bar alone into Harvard Square.
This scene
As MARK continues on, he passes a group of people heading in the opposite direction for a party.
As MARK’s steady and determined stride continues, he’ll pass by all kinds of (seemingly) happy, well-adjusted, socially adept people.
The pulsing intro of a song crashes in that will take us through the following sequence
