Scene 41 of 189 · ≈ 1 min on screen
Mark Zuckerberg wants status and belonging Harvard's final clubs won't give him, so he builds a website that gives the world both — and loses his best friend and co-founder to the company he built to prove he mattered.

Mark's internet connection freezes and the group realizes Facemash has taken down the whole Harvard network.
Three years later in deposition, Mark bristles at Gretchen reading Erica's testimony about the bar breakup, and Marylin quietly clocks that Facemash pulled 22,000 hits in two hours.

TYLER
We could jump out and swim.
CAMERON
I think we’d have to jump out and drown.
TYLER
Or you could row forward and I could row
backward.
CAMERON
We’re genetically identical, science says
we’d stay in one place.
TYLER
Row the damn boat.
And the WINKLEVOSS twins kick into full gear and open up an even wider lead as we
