Scene 7 of 130 · ≈ 1 min on screen · Act one
Reunited three years after a car crash scattered them into hollow versions of success, four friends stumble into a bachelor-party trip to Goa where making one last short film forces them to confront the heartbreak, cowardice, and unfinished business each of them has been outrunning.
The four friends bicker in a car about whether to make crime thrillers or comedies for views — the fight over what kind of story to tell, which the rest of the film answers.
Karthik walks the three guys outside and needles them about class and status.
Karthik humiliates the group further over a bottle of wine before walking off.
Karthik's boss offers him his daughter's hand and a family heirloom engagement ring.
This scene
KARTHIK waves a goodbye to the security guard outside.
The lights in the club are shut, people behind him are shutting the place down.
Drunk people are getting to their vehicles.
KARTHIK sits inside his car.
He takes a heavy breath.
He takes the ring out and observes it in its glory.
He smiles as the solitaire reflects the light onto his face.
