53EXT. CLARKE HOUSE - MOMENTS LATER

Joan walks Alan out of the front door, finally out of earshot from her parents for a few quick seconds.

ALAN TURING

You won’t have the proper

clearance, so we’ll have to

improvise a bit.

JOAN CLARKE

Why are you helping me?

ALAN TURING

There is only one thing that

matters in this entire world, do

you understand? Breaking Enigma.

JOAN CLARKE

Mr. Turing. Why are you helping me?

ALAN TURING

... Sometimes it is the very people

who no one imagines anything of who

do the things that no one can

imagine.
